About

Posters in Parliament Austria presented excellent Bachelor thesis projects of 24 students from seven Austrian Universities to create a space for discourse between students and policy makers. The aim was to build a bridge between the realms of research findings and current societal challenges. Each project was presented in English and German with a poster and a pitch to highlight its relevant points and findings. They covered a range of topics in the fields of sustainability and inclusion, using perspectives and methods of the social, natural, applied sciences and engineering as well as the arts. Guests were able to learn about female health, water supply and monitoring, sign language, access to higher education, architectural design, and other interesting topics. The parliament was a wonderful host and created a great atmosphere for the presentation and discussion of the future-relevant projects. Members of the parliamentary clubs, relevant interest groups as well as employees of the parliamentary directorates of the European parliaments as well as the supervisors of the students and representatives of the University of Vienna were invited as interested visitors.
